Smoked for 15 years, vaped from early 2013 - WOW what a difference. Really enjoy tasting something nice and not stinking of smoke all the time. Run marathons these days, couldn't have imagined that when I was smoking.

The conductivity at first is real great but it seems that with time it slowly diminishes, on the good side it's a reliable mod with great craftsmanship.

Chi You 7.8

I never was lucky enough to own my own Chi You but I did get a chance to use one for a few months because my friend had one she wasn't using. I LOVED it, it's just a shame that they're not the easiest to find and they're so expensive, but the quality is top notch.

Chi You 7.4

Best thing about this mod is the build quality, it is excellent. Noticeably heavier than other mods with a much thicker tube wall, threading smoothness and engraving quality are top notch. Also must mention the firing button, produces a very satisfying click. Mine did have some grit leftover from the manufacturing process, which needed to be washed off as it was really noticeable. No burrs, but the inner side of the tube was not completely smooth.

Performance wise it works quite well, but some other mods (ie Nemesis) do hit noticeably harder. The AFC ring is annoying and some people really like how it looks, personally I will replace with a flat top. The screw in screw top pin is a novel idea, however in practice it is not that good. The delrin piece moves too easily and the inner screw which contacts the battery moves even more easily, so both will need to be checked frequently.

Design is a mix of great and mediocre. The engravings, especially the lion's head, look absolutely amazing. The finish of the polishing is also excellent. The AFC ring is debatable, the 510 connector and top cap ring look mediocre. I should also mention that one of my atty's does not screw in well, it gets "stuck" about halfway in...does not happen in any of my other mods. The firing button is nice to use, but that ring around the edge with the script looks very mediocre.

This is still a relatively difficult mod to purchase, but it should become easier soon. After having used it for awhile and understanding its pros and cons, I think the asking price is ridiculous. It is well made and seems like it will last for a very long time, and that is why I bought it... but there are equal or better mods out there for the same or less money.
