Smoked for 15 years, vaped from early 2013 - WOW what a difference. Really enjoy tasting something nice and not stinking of smoke all the time. Run marathons these days, couldn't have imagined that when I was smoking.

iTaste VTR 6.9

Bought my VTR in December 2013 & absolutely loved it! A bit too heavy to carry around, it became my "at home" mod. Within 3 months of moderate use, the ohm meter began to malfunction. It's on the shelf until I can get it repaired. Was hoping it would be as durable as my MVP2...

Atomiser used: Protank 2
Batteries used: Efest 18650
Bought from: Vapor Room - Tonawanda, NY

  • Easy to use
  • Heavy
  • Pricy
  • Not as durable as an MVP

iTaste VTR 9.8

Amazing vv/vw mod. Extremely stylish and brilliantly finished unit.

Range of atomizers fitting it is unfortunately very limited as only max 19mm atomizers fit in it, even though it comes with extension that lets you use wider atomizers, but that takes the size of the mod to whole new levels.

Also you should be warned that there has been some issues about connector threads, they might be ruined in use, but just adding flat 510-510 adapter the issue can be avoided.

Even with these limitations, its very well worth its price as mod that shows you mean business and with vw specially, you can take any ato to its limits!

Atomiser used: Innokin 30S, 30B, ProTank3 etc.
Batteries used: 18650
Bought from:

  • Variable Wattage!
  • The looks
  • Built to last
  • Very limited choice of tanks without extension
  • Weights about ten tons

iTaste VTR 9.8

The VTR was a Christmas present from my wife and has become my travel companion. The SVD has been a consistent solid performer. However, because of the design with the top ring, some users will find their options for a tank are very limited with the use of the included extension piece.

My only criticism of the VTR is the inability to easily clean the tank connection area. It is recessed and very hard to reach, and I wonder what happens to the juice in case of a leak. So far this has not been an issue, I can foresee a real problem if there is ever an accident or a leaky tank.

In daily use, the VTR is ergonomic and fits in the hand with a natural feel. Vaping, especially with the iClear 30S, is predictably excellent.

Atomiser used: iClear 30S
Batteries used: 18650
Bought from: Local B&M

  • Excellent build quality
  • Easy to use controls
  • VV and VW
  • Very heavy, about 13 ounces
  • Cleaning up leaks could be an issue
  • Limited tank choices
